Wake Forest Midfielder Bruno Lapa – College Soccer News National Player of the Week – Week Ending September 30, 2018

Bruno Lapa  Junior  Midfielder  Wake Forest

Lapa continues to be a difference maker on the offensive side of the ball for the Demon Deacons.

This week he scored twice and assisted on teammate Aristotle Zarris' goal in a 5-1 non-conference win over Davidson.  He also scored what proved to be the game-winning goal with an assist from Logan Gdula in Wake Forest's 4-2 win over Duke in a key Atlantic Coast Conference contest.

Lapa has scored nine times and contributed six goals to date and is among the reasons why Wake Forest is 10-0-0.

The Demon Deacons host UNCG in a non-conference contest on Tuesday and travel to face Syracuse on Friday in what could be a very challenging ACC match.
