College Soccer News National Player Of The Week – Week Ending September 7, 2014

Andy Craven – Senior – Forward – North Carolina

The Tar Heels took to the road this weekend to face Old Dominion and VCU.  Craven who is from St. Simons Island, Georgia proved to be a difference maker in both contests by producing the game winning goals in North Carolina's 1-0 victory over Old Dominion and 1-0 win over VCU.  After missing the 2013 season due to injury, both Craven and fellow fifth year senior Rob Lovejoy have returned to the pitch to join senior Tyler Engel and freshman Alan Winn among others to give North Carolina a very formidable and diverse attack.  Craven has three goals and three game winners to date.  The Tar Heels are 3-1-0 and are playing very well.

North Carolina will begin ACC play when they welcome Pittsburgh to Chapel Hill on Friday, September 12.
