Nick DePuy – Junior – Forward – UC Santa Barbara

DePuy and his UCSB teammates had a productive week of play recording key Big West Conference wins on the road over UC Irvine 3-1 and CSUN 2-1 in overtime. DePuy scored what proved to be the game-winner from close range after receiving a pass from Randy Mendoza in the victory over UC Irvine. He scored twice including the game-winner in overtime in the win over CSUN. DePuy's first goal in the contest with CSUN was a header that was set up by a cross from Andy Perez. The game-winning goal occurred when DePuy controlled the rebound of teammate Ahinga Selemani's shot and alertly returned it into the net from close range.

DePuy has now netted a total of ten goals year to date. The Gauchos are 13-0-3 all-time when DePuy finds the back of the net.

UC Santa Barbara improves to 7-3-1 with a 2-0-0 mark in Big West Conference action. The Gauchos will seek to keep their current three game winning streak and undefeated record in conference play alive when they host UC Riverside on Thursday and Cal State Fullerton on Saturday.
