Stefany Ferrer-VanGinkel – Senior – Midfielder – West Virginia
Ferrer-vanGinkel powered an energetic Mountaineer offense that came out strong in West Virginia’s 2-1 win over a very good Kansas team.
She displayed quickness and touch on the ball wiith a two goal effort within the first sixteen minutes of the contest. Sophomore forward Enzi Broussard contributed the helper on both goals.
Ferrer-vanGinkel has six goals including four game-winners to date in the fall season.
West Virginia improves to 7-1-0 and will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to square off with TCU on Friday, November 6 with the Big 12 regular season title on the line.
