Welcome to the most recent edition of "Up Close" on CollegeSoccerNews.com, where host Adam Zundell brings you the voices of the game — players and coaches — straight to you, unfiltered, exclusively on CollegeSoccerNews.com.

In today's episode, Zundell sits down to talk with college soccer royalty and one of the top assistant coaches in the country, Creighton's Johnny Torres. Torres reflects on his time as a player and coach with Creighton, including what he's learned under three top mentors: Bob Warming, Jamie Clark and Elmar Bolowich. Torres also talks about the sudden ending to the 2015 season, and having to replace seven starters from last year's team that was ranked No. 1 for most of the season.
