|George Tasouris||RS Freshman||Goalkeeper||Grand Canyon|
Tasouris has been at the heart of a GCU defense that has not allowed a goal in the past 320 minutes of play.
Last week he had a total of twenty-two saves as Grand Canyon posted clean sheets over Utah Valley 1-0, Air Force 1-0 and San Jose State 1-0 to win the WAC Tournament and punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
For his work between the pipes, Tasouris was named the WAC Tournament MVP.
The Lopes under the leadership of head coach Schellas Hyndman will keep what has been a special season alive when they travel to face UC Irvine out of the Big West Conference on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
