Chris Wehan – Redshirt Junior – Midfielder – New Mexico
Wehan, who is from Laguna Niguel, California, was named the Most Valuable Player and the Offensive Most Valuable Player of the Grange and Ashwill Memorial Invitational in Albuquerque after a very productive four goal weekend. Wehan scored twice in New Mexico's 2-2 draw with San Diego and twice in their 2-1 win over UC Santa Barbara.
A young Lobo team that appears to be gaining momemtum and confidence improves to 1-1-1. New Mexico will seek to improve its win total when they travel to California to face CSUN on Friday, September 11 and Loyola Marymount on Sunday, September 13.
