Cyle Larin – Sophomore – Forward – Connecticut –

Those footsteps that other teams in the American Athletic Conference may be hearing are those of Cyle Larin and his Connecticut teammates who have now won three straight to improve to 7-6-2 with a 5-1-1 mark in conference play.  Larin leads the Huskies with eight goals to date and is among the reasons why Connecticut looks to be gaining momentum.  Larin scored twice in UConn's 3-1 win over Temple and netted the game winning goal in their 2-1 win over SMU before a crowd of 3,643 fans at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.

Connecticut will host Yale from the Ivy League on Tuesday night and then will take to the road to tangle with South Florida in Tampa on Saturday night in what shapes up to be a key American Athletic Conference contest. South Florida topped UConn 1-0 when the two teams faced each other on September 27 at Morrone Stadium.
