Brecken Mozingo – Senior – Forward – BYU
Monzingo helped the Cougars secure two very good NCAA Tournament wins. She contributed an assist along with Kendell Petersen on midfielder Bella Folino’s game-winner in BYU’s 1-0 win over Southern California in the second round and scored twice and assisted on the goal scored by Ellie Walbruch in the Cougars’ 3-1 win over Michigan State in the Sweet Sixteen. Monzingo has 13 goals including three game-winners and 14 assists on the season.
BYU is 19-2-3 and advances to the Elite Eight where they will host North Carolina out of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Friday.
