 | Brecken Mozingo – Senior – Forward – BYU – Monzingo makes good things happen for BYU. Monzingo and midfielder Kendall Pertersen put together a combination of passes to assist on Bella Folino’s game-winner in the Courgars 1-0 win over Southern California. Monzingo also scored BYU’s first two goals and provided the helper on forward Ellie Walbruch’g goal to help the Cougars secure a 3-1 come from behind win over Michigan State in the Sweet Sixteen. Monzingo has 13 goals and 14 assists on the season. BYU improves to 19-2-3 and advances to the Elite Eight for the second time in the past three seasons. |
 | Kaitlyn MacBean – Redshirt Junior – Forward – Penn State – MacBean was a force on the offensive side of the ball for the Nittany Lions. She scored Penn State’s first goal and assisted on the goal scored by Payton Linnehan in a 2-0 win over Santa Clara. She also scored Penn State’s first two goals and assisted on Linnehan’s game-winning goal in overtime in a 4-3 win in a back and forth contest with a very good Saint Louis team. Penn State is 16-2-4 and advances to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament where they will face Clemson on the road on Saturday. The Nittany Lions return to the Elite Eight for the first time since 2018. |
 | Jordynn Dudley – Freshman- Forward – Florida State – Dudley utilized her speed, focus, and touch on the ball to maintain possession after receiving a beautiful header from Beata Olsson to score a highlight reel goal that proved to be the lone score of the game in FSU’s 1-0 win over a determined Texas A and M Team in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Dudley also converted a penalty kick and contributed a helper on teammate Taylor Huff’s goal while receiving limited minutes in FSU’s subsequent 5-0 win over a good Texas team in the third round. The Seminoles improve to 19-0-1 and host Pittsburgh on Friday. |
 | Ally Sentnor – Redshirt Sophomore – Forward – North Carolina – Sentnor has big play ability. This week she made the run and utilized her touch and quickness on the ball to create the angle that she needed to score from inside the box after receiving a pass from Emerson Elgin to give the Tar Heels the goal they needed to top Alabama 1-0. Sentnor also contributed the assist on Bella Sember’s game-winner in UNC’s 1-0 hard fought win over a very competitive Texas Tech team. Sentnor has nine goals and six assists on the season for the Tar Heels who improve to 13-1-8 and advance to the Elite Eight against BYU in Provo on Friday. |
 | Ellie Coffield – Junior – Midfielder – Pittsburgh – Coffield came through in the clutch for the Panthers scoring the equalizer out of an indirect kick just outside the box. She then scored the game-winner with 90 seconds remaining to enable Pitt to upset Arkansas 4-3 in Fayetteville in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Coffield also put in a full ninety minutes of play in Pitt’s subsequent win over Memphis in the Sweet Sixteen. The Panthers punch their ticket to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history where they will square off with Florida State in Tallahassee on Friday. |
 | Megan Bornkamp – Senior – Midfielder – Clemson – Bornkamp played a key role in Clemson’s 2-1 win over Columbia and subsequent 1-1 tie with Georgia in which the Tigers prevailed in a penalty kick shootout. Bornkamp scored with an assist from Renee Lyles and contributed an assist on Lyles’ game-winning goal in the win over Columbia and utilized her touch on the ball to create the space she needed in the 88th minute in the game with Georgia. The Tigers improve to 17-3-4 and advance to the Elite Eight where they will host Penn State at Historic Riggs Field on Saturday. |
 | Laveni Vaka – Senior – Defender – BYU – Vaka was a key ingredient in a very stout team oriented BYU defense that shutout Southern California 1-0 holding the Trojans to only six shots on goal. They also defeated Michigan State 3-1 limiting the Spartans to only six shots on frame. BYU improves to 19-2-3 and moves forward to the Elite Eight where they will welcome North Carolina to South Field in Provo for what promises to be a something has to give blockbuster college soccer contest between two outstanding programs. |
 | Nicola Hauk – Senior – Defender – Nebraska – Nebraska powered by Eleanor Dale (28g, 5a) and Sarah Weber (15g, 6a) has a high powered attack but solid team defense has also been an important factor for the Huskers. Hauk put in a full 90 minute tour of duty on the defensive side of the ball to help Nebraska secure a 2-1 win over Tennessee and a 4-0 win over UC Irvine. The Huskers out of the Big Ten improve to 17-3-3 and advance to the Elite Eight where they will tangle with Stanford out of the Pac-12 on Friday for the right to advance to the College Cup. |
 | Savy King – Freshman – Defender – North Carolina – The Tar Heel center back was part of a rock solid and well organized UNC defense that shutout both Alabama and Texas Tech 1-0 holding both sides without a shot on goal. North Carolina improves to 13-1-8 The Tar Heels advance to the Elite Eight where they will face Brigham Young on Friday in what has all the makings of an outstanding college soccer contest. |
 | Elsie Evans – Sophomore – Defender – Stanford – Evans has been a stalwart on the defensive side of the ball for Stanford. This week she was part of a solid Cardinal defense that shutout South Carolina 3-0 and Mississippi State 1-0. Her header off a rebound out of a corner kick with assists from Jasmine Aikey and Maya Doms proved to the the lone score in Stanford’s win over Mississippi State. The Cardinal advance to the Elite Eight for the 11th time in the past 16 seasons where they will host Nebraska on Friday. |
 | Cristina Roque – Senior – Goalkeeper – Florida State – The Noles had a big week on the offensive side of the ball but were also rock solid on defense. Roque had an eight save weekend anchoring a Seminole defense that shutout Texas A and M 1-0 and Texas 5-0 to advance to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament where they will host fellow ACC member Pittsburgh on Friday with a trip to the College Cup on the line. |
