Gainford continues to be an impact player on the offensive side of the ball for Akron. He found the back of the net from twenty-five yards out and placed a shot into the left corner of the goal to play a key role in Akron's 3-2 win in overtime against Wisconsin. Senior forward Stuart Holthusen netted the game-winning goal for the Zips who improve to 18-3-1 and will face Louisville in the Elite Eight. . |

Jelani Pieters – RS Freshman – Forward – UNC |
Pieters scored from inside the box to up UNC's lead to 2-0 over a game SMU team. Pieters' goal was set up by a nice move and pass from midfielder Cam Lindley. Jack Skahan contributed the first Tar Heel score. North Carolina improves to 16-3-1 and advances to the Elite Eight for the eighth time in the past ten seasons. The Tar Heels will host Fordham in the Elite Eight. |

Tate Schmitt – Junior – Midfielder – Louisville |
Schmitt continues to be a difference maker for Louisville. He drove a header into the back of the net out of a corner kick put in play by defender Tim Kubel to score what proved to be the game-winning goal in Louisville's 2-0 win over Colgate. He also scored the game-winning goal in Louisville's 3-2 victory over San Francisco last weekend. Number four seed Louisville advances to the Elite Eight where they will host number five seed Akron. The Cardinals have advanced to the Elite Eight five times in the last eight seasons. . |

Brian White – Senior – Midfielder – Duke |
The Duke captain has been an impact player all year. He converted a header out of a corner kick put in play by midfielder Max Moser and assisted on Mathias Frick's goal out of a corner kick in Duke's 2-2 tie with Fordham. Duke's season ended with a 13-4-3 record after Fordham prevailed 8-7 in a penalty kick shootout. |

Mike Catalano – Senior – Midfielder – Wisconsin |
Catalano scored from the middle of the box after Chris Mueller made a nice move and pass to set up the score. Catalano also scored from inside the box out of a free kick put in play by Mueller. A banner season came to an end for Wisconsin in the Sweet Sixteen with a 3-2 loss in overtime to Akron. |

Cory Thomas – RS Junior – Midfielder – Indiana |
Thomas sent a header into the net from six yards out after receiving a cross from teammate Rece Buckmaster in Indiana's 2-1 win over New Hampshire. The Hoosiers improve to 17-0-5 and advance to the Elite Eight where they will host fellow Big Ten Conference member MIchigan State. |

Bart Dziedzic – Sophomore – Midfielder – Fordham |
Diedzic contributed the assist on teammate Jannik Loebe's goal and was at the right place at the right time to send a loose ball into the back of the frame from inside the box with just over three minutes left in regulation to tie the contest with Duke at 2-2 and send it into extra time. Fordham advances to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history by advancing past Duke after prevailing in a penalty kick shootout. |

Ema Twumasi – Sophomore – Midfielder – Wake Forest |
Twumasi had a two helper evening assisting on the goals scored by forward Jon Bakero and midfielder Brandon Servania to help the Demon Deacons top Butler 2-0 to advance to the Elite Eight. Number one seeded Wake Forest improves to 19-1-2 and will host number nine seed Stanford in the Elite Eight for the third consecutive season. . |

Jimmy Fiscus – Senior – Defender – Michigan State |
The Spartan captain scored what proved to be the game-winning goal from close range out of a free kick with a double assist from John Freitag and Connor Corrigan to give Michigan State the edge they needed to top Western Michigan 2-1 in a very competitive college soccer contest. The Spartans improve to 13-3-3 while Western Michigan concludes a stellar season with a 17-4-1 record. Michigan State will travel to face Indiana in the Elite Eight. |

Tanner Beason – RS Sophomore – Defender – Stanford |
Beason converted a penalty kick and was part of a solid Stanford defense anchored in goal by Nico Corti that shutout Coastal Carolina 2-0 to advance to the Elite Eight. The goal was Beason's fourth of the season. Senior forward Foster Langsdorf added the insurance goal for the Cardinal with an assist from Corey Baird. Stanford improves to 16-2-2 and advances to tangle with number one seed Wake Forest in Winston-Salem.. |

Rashid Nuhu – Junior – Goalkeeper – Fordham |
Nuhu made three saves in regulation and three saves in the ensuing penalty kick shootout to help Fordham prevail over number six seed Duke eight to seven in a penalty kick shootout to earn the right to advance to the Elite Eight to face North Caroilina. Nuhu also converted a penalty kick during the shootout. A determined Fordham team is 14-5-3 to date. |
