| Nicolo Mulatero – Senior – Forward – Missouri State – Mulatero’s third two-goal contest of the season powered the Bears past SIUE 2-0 to close out regular season play with a 10-1-4 overall record and 6-0-2 mark in Missouri Valley Conference play. Mulatero scored twice in the first half of play with Kian Yari and James Jennings assisting on the first goal and Matt Jones contributing the helper of the second goal. Missouri State returns to the pitch on Thursday, November 10 in the MVC Tournament semifinals. |
| Marco Afonso – Fifth Year – Forward – UNCG – Afonso contributed a helper on Emmanuel Hagen’s goal and scored three goals of his own to power the Spartans by Furman 6-3. UNCG advances to the Southern Conference Tournament final for the first time since the 2020-2021 season. The Spartans will host Mercer on Saturday with the conference championship and an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament on the line. |
| Ryan Wittenbrink – Redshirt Senior – Forward – Indiana – Wittenbrink came up with the big play the Hoosiers needed when he controlled and placed the rebound of freshman forward Luka Bezerra’s missed shot into the lower corner of the goal to give IU a 1-0 win over Penn State in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. Indiana ups their record to 9-3-6 and advances to the semifinals on Wednesday against number one seed Maryland. Indiana and Maryland had a 1-1 draw when they played each other in Bloomington on October 30. |
| Tyler Young – Redshirt Junior – Midfielder – Campbell – Young had a productive week of play for the Camels. He scored twice in Campbell’s 3-1 win over Big South Conference foe Gardner-Webb and contributed a goal and the assist on defender Bissafi Dotte’s goal in their subsequent 5-0 win over Presbyterian in the semifinals of the Big South Conference. Campbell has a challenge coming up on Saturday when they host High Point in the Big South Conference Tournament final with a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the line. High Point defeated Campbell 1-0 when they faced each other in Buies Creek on October 12. |
| Knut Ahlander – Graduate Student – Midfielder – SMU – Ahlander converted a penalty kick and made the run he needed to make to be in position to drive a shot into the bottom left hand corner of the net from the right side of the box in the Mustang’s 3-2 win over Tulsa. Defender Kyran Chambron Pinho and forward Fredrik Skillberg provided a double assist on Ahlander’s second goal. Skillberg also scored what proved to be the game-winning goal. Ahlander has 12 goals and 4 assists on the season. SMU improves to 10-4-1 with a 6-3-0 record in American Athletic Conference play. The Mustangs begin play in the AAC Tournament semifinals on Thursday. |
| Enzo Mauriz – Junior – Midfielder – Kentucky – Mauriz had another productive week of play scoring Kentucky’s first two goals in a 3-0 on the road win over South Carolina. Nick Gutmann assisted on the first goal and Max Miller and Gutmann contributed the helpers on the second goal. Kentucky also defeated South Carolina 2-1 at home on Sunday in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and will host West Virginia in the semifinals on Wednesday. The Wildcats are 12-0-5. |
| Brandon Cambridge – Sophomore – Midfielder – Portland – Cambridge scored Portland’s first three goals in a 4-0 win over Santa Clara in a West Coast Conference matchup. He has 11 goals and 6 assists on the season. Portland improves to 11-2-3 overall with a 5-1-0 mark in conference play. The Pilots will close out regular season play when they travel to Stockton to face WCC foe Pacific on Saturday. |
| Michael Adedokun – Sophomore – Midfielder – Dayton – Adedokun came through in the clutch for the Flyers when he drove a shot into the top corner of the net out of a free kick from just outside the box in the 89th minute of play to give Dayton the edge they needed to defeat VCU 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament. Dayton improves to 10-2-4 and advances to the A-10 semifinals where they will face number one seed Saint Louis at Hermann Stadium on Wednesday. The Flyers will seek to avenge a 3-1 regular season loss to the Billikens. |
| Evan Schweickert – Junior – Midfielder – American – Schweickert scored out of a free kick to net what proved to be the game-winning goal and contributed an assist on the goal scored by freshman midfielder Troy Elgersma to give American the punch they needed on the offensive side of the ball to defeat Colgate 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament. American halts a three game losing streak and advances to the semifinals where they will face Army in West Point on Tuesday. |
| Ben Rosenblatt – Junior – Defender – Elon – Rosenblatt made his presence known on both sides of the ball for the Phoenix. He put in a full 90 minute minutes of play on the defensive side of the ball and drove a header into the near post after receiving a pass from midfielder Marco Vesterholm to give the Phoenix the big play they needed on the offensive side of the ball to edge Drexel 1-0 in the semifinals of the CAA Tournament. Elon improves to 11-3-3 and will host a surging Hofstra team on Saturday in the CAA Tournament Title contest. |
| Holden Brown – Junior – Goalkeeper – Virginia – Brown had a banner nine save match to anchor a Cavalier defense that shutout a very good Pittsburgh team 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. The shutout was Brown’s eighth on the season. Virginia improves to 10-4-3 overall and travels to face Syracuse in the semifinals on Wednesday. Virginia defeated the Orange 1-0 when the two teams faced each other in regular season play back on September 24. |
