Several key performances stood out this week, some helped solidify their team’s place at the top of the national standings, while others helped their team make massive jumps into the rankings.

Team of the Week
Ohio State
The Buckeyes responded to their loss against UCLA with back-to-back home wins against Southern California and Iowa this past week. Their defensive solidity continues to be strong as they have only allowed four goals through 10 games and are led from the front by Amanda Schlueter who is two goals away from having a career best.
Offensive Player of the Week
Sadie Beardall – Senior – Forward – Utah Valley
Sadie Beardall had a brace and an assist against CSU Bakersfield last week and followed that output with a goal against UC San Diego and then a brace last night against UC Irvine. The senior is rounding into scoring form at the right time.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kylie Bahr – Graduate Student – Fullback – Texas Tech
Kylie Bahr helped secure the clean sheet for Texas Tech against Cincinnati, she also added an assist in the game. That win was followed up by a 90 minute performance against Colorado where Tech secured all three points again. Bahr and the Tech defense has been strong all season only allowing six goals in 10 games. Bahr has also been an offensive presence as she has a goal contribution in three of the last five games.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Aubrey Brown – Senior – SMU
Aubrey Brown kept a clean sheet helping SMU earn a point against one of the top teams in the country in Stanford this past week making nine saves. It was her first CS in ACC play this season and it couldn’t have come at a better time after back-to-back road losses. It was a performance that could help turn the tide back in SMU’s favor.
Freshman of the Week
Brooke Huleatt – Forward – Harvard
Brooke Huleatt has been in fantastic form throughout September and that culminated in a three goal contribution game (1g/2a) this past week against Princeton. It was her fourth game this season with multiple goal contributions and the freshman now has 14 GCs (7g/7a) in 595 minutes.
