| Riley Mattingly Parker – Graduate Student – Forward – Alabama – Parker scored and assisted on the goals scored by forwards Paul Gianna and Ashlynn Serepca as the Tide rolled to a 4-1 win over a very competitive Mississippi State team in SEC play. She also contributed an assist on the goal scored by midfielder Kat Rogers in Alabama’s subsequent 2-0 SEC win over Florida. The Tide improves to 16-1-1 with a perfect 9-0-0 mark in conference play. Alabama closes out regular season play on the road with rival Auburn in what promises to be a spirited college soccer contest. |
| Ally Sentnor – Redshirt Freshman – Forward – North Carolina – Sentnor was a difference maker for the Tar Heels in two on the road ACC wins. She made a picture perfect move at the top of the box to create the angle she needed to drill a left-footed shot into the back of the net to score what proved to be the game-winning goal in UNC’s 2-1 win over a very good Florida State team. Sentnor also scored the Tar Heel’s first goal with an assist from midfielder Talia Dellaperuta in their 4-0 win over Miami. North Carolina improves to 14-3-0 with a 7-2-0 mark in conference play. The Tar Heels close out regular season play on Thursday with a contest on the road against Louisville. |
| Caroline Kelly – Junior – Forward – Saint Louis – Kelly alertly controlled and redirected a loose ball into the net from within the box with an assist from defender Sydney Beach to give Saint Louis the edge they needed to top a good VCU team 1-0. The win enabled the Billikens to secure their fourth A-10 regular season title in the past five seasons. Kelly also scored with a helper from midfielder Hannah Friedrich and assisted on the goal scored by Anna Lawler in Saint Louis’ 4-0 win over A-10 foe Saint Joseph’s. The Billikens improve to 17-1-0 with a 10-0-0 mark in conference play. Saint Louis will face Loyola Chicago in the first round of the A-10 Conference Tournament on Saturday. |
| Lauren DeBeau – Senior – Forward – Michigan State – An opportunistic and determined DeBeau came through in the clutch for the Spartans in two Big Ten Conference contests. She took advantage of an open goal to place a shot in the bottom left corner of the net to give the Spartans the edge they needed to top Big Ten foe Ohio State 1-0. DeBeau followed that up with a nice move to create the space and angle she needed to loft a highlight reel shot into the top right corner of the net from 25 yards out to give Michigan State the big play they needed to top a very good Rutgers team 1-0. Michigan State improves to 14-1-3 and secures the Big Ten Regular Season Title with a 9-0-1 mark in conference play. The number one seeded Spartans will face number eight seeded Minnesota in the Big Ten Conference Tournament on Sunday. |
| Lauren Egbuloniu – Sophomore – Forward – Louisiana Tech – Egbulonic had a very productive week of play scoring twice to give Tech a solid 2-1 win over UAB to halt the Blazer’s ten match unbeaten streak. Flavie Dube and Kalli Matlock contributed the double assist on Egbuloniu’s first goal and Emma Jones provided the helper on the second. Louisiana Tech is now 7-7-3 overall with a 5-2-2 mark in CUSA play. They close out regular season play next Saturday with a game on the road against North Texas. |
| Trinity Byars – Sophomore – Forward – Texas – Byars scored with an assist from sophomore midfielder Lexi Missimo in the Longhorn’s on the road 1-1 tie with Iowa State. She also scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in Texas’ 2-1 win on the road over a very competitive Oklahoma State team with Missimo contributing her tenth helper of the season. The Longhorns improve to 12-1-4 with a 6-0-2 mark in Big 12 play to secure at least a share of the Big 12 Conference regular season title for the first time since 2001. The Longhorns close out regular season play when they welcome Big 12 foe Oklahoma to Austin on Thursday. |
| Korbin Albert – Sophomore – Midfielder – Notre Dame – Albert came up with the big play the Irish needed to top a very good Virginia Tech team 1-0 in Blacksburg when she scored out of a free kick from 23-yards out in the seventh minute of the match. She also converted a penalty kick and scored again out of a free kick in Notre Dame’s subsequent 3-0 on the road win over Wake Forest. The Irish improve to 14-2-0 with a 7-2-0 mark in conference play. They close out regular season play on Thursday with a tough contest in South Bend against ACC foe Duke. |
| Olivia McKnight – Senior – Midfielder – Binghamton – McKnight was a force on the offensive side of the ball scoring Binghamton’s first three goals to lead the Bearcats to a 5-4 win over UMass Lowell in an action packed American East contest that kept the scoreboard operator busy. McKnight became just the fourth Binghamton player to record a hat trick. She has now scored a total six goals with five of them coming in the Bearcats last five games. Binghamton is 8-5-3 overall with a 5-1-1 mark in America East play. They close out regular season play with an America East contest on Thursday against UMBC. |
| Jasmine Aikey – Freshman – Midfielder – Stanford – Aikey took over the contest and powered the Cardinal past Oregon State 3-0 in Corvallis with a three goal evening. Aikey changed the complexation of the match when she scored two goals in just over a minute very early in the second half of play. Aikey was also a force on the offensive side of the ball in Stanford’s 1-0 win over Oregon earlier in the week in which forward Lumi Kostmayer contributed the lone goal for the Cardinal. Stanford improves to 14-2-1 with a 7-1-0 mark in Pac-12 play. The Cardinal resume conference play with matches at home on Thursday against Utah and Sunday with Colorado. |
| Jamie Tatum – Fifth Year – Midfielder – Wyoming – Tatum came through in the clutch with the big play that Wyoming needed when she scored out of a free kick from just outside the box to give the Cowgirls a 2-1 win over Fresno State. Tatum also did it again when she scored with just over a minute remaining to give Wyoming a 2-1 come from behind win over San Jose State. Tatum has eight goals and four assists on the season. The “its not over till its over” Cowgirls improve to 6-6-5 with a 5-3-2 record in Mountain West Conference play. Wyoming continues Mountain West play on Thursday with a regular season ending contest in Fort Collings against Colorado State. |
| Olivia Lewis – Senior – Defender – UCF – Lewis was a key part of a stellar UCF defense that shutout East Carolina 1-0 and Houston 1-0 to secure the AAC regular season title. She also drove a shot into top right side of the goal from outside the box to net the game-winner in the win over ECU. The Knights improve to 8-2-4 with a 6-0-1 mark in conference play. UCF travels to Tampa to face rival South Florida on Thursday. |
| Delaney Graham – Graduate Student – Defender – Duke – Graham put in a full ninety minute tour of duty on the defensive side of the ball in Duke’s scoreless draw with Clemson. She contributed an assist on one of the two goals scored by Michelle Cooper and one of the two goals scored by Kat Rider in Duke’s 4-0 win over Louisville. Graham is now Duke’s all-time leader in minutes played. The Blue Devils improve to 11-4-1 with a 6-2-1 mark in ACC play. They continue ACC play with a road trip to South Bend to face a very good Notre Dame team on Thursday. |
| Brooklynn Kirkpatrick – Junior – Goalkeeper Youngstown State – Kirkpatrick was rock solid in goal with a nine save evening to post her seventh shutout on the season in a 2-0 win over IUPUI in a Horizon League matchup. Senior forward Regan Lavigna and freshman midfielder Taylor Berry contributed the goals for the Penguins who improve to 6-7-3 with a 4-3-2 mark in Horizon League play. Youngstown State concludes regular season play with a game on the road on Wednesday against Robert Morris. |
