| Kristen Scott – Fifth Year – Forward – UCF – Scott was a force on the offensive side of the ball for the Knights who secured two good wins in AAC play. She found the back of the net twice to power UCF past Cincinnati 4-0. Scott also scored twice and assisted on the goal scored by senior forward Dayana Martin to help the Knights secure a good 3-2 on the road win over Tulsa. UCF improves to 6-2-4 with a 4-0-1 mark in conference play. They head down the homestretch of regular season play with AAC games at home on Thursday against East Carolina and Houston on Sunday. |
| Jenna Nighswonger – Senior – Forward – Florida State – Nighswonger was a catalyst on on the offensive side of the ball in a dominant 5-1 Florida State win in which Noles scored four second half goals to top a very good Duke team. Nighswonger had a three assist evening contributing the helper on one of Jody Brown’s two goals and assisting on the goals scored by Beata Olsson and Leilanni Nesbeth. FSU improves to 10-1-2 with a 6-1-0 mark in ACC play. The Seminoles will host North Carolina on Thursday in another key ACC matchup. |
| Kayla Fisher – Senior – Forward – Ohio State – Fisher found the back of net four times during a “goal-a-thon” week of play for the Buckeyes. Fisher scored once in Ohio State’s 7-0 win over Maryland and three times in their subsequent 6-1 win over Illinois. Sophomore forward Kailyn Dudukovich had a hat trick in the win over Maryland and also scored in the win over Illinois. The Buckeyes stretch their unbeaten streak to seven games to stand at 10-4-3 overall with a 5-1-2 mark in Big Ten play. Ohio State finishes regular season play with difficult games at home against Big Ten foes Michigan State on Thursday and Northwestern on Sunday. |
| Reagan Baiotto – Sophomore – Forward – Campbell – Baiotto came up big for the Camels scoring three times to provide the firepower the Camels needed to top USC Upstate 3-0 in a Big South Conference matchup. She was also an active part of Campbell’s attack in a 3-1 on the road win over Charleston Southern. Campbell extends their unbeaten streak to 11 games with a 9-3-3 overall record and 5-0-2 mark in Big South play. They continue conference play when they travel to Ashville to face UNC Ashville on Saturday. |
| Grace Collins – Graduate Student – Forward – Rice – Collins had a big three goal week. She skillfully placed a shot into the bottom right corner of the frame with an assist from Delaney Schultz followed by a nice move off the dribble to create the space needed to score with an assist from Kallie McKinney in a 2-0 win over UTEP. Collins followed that up with a nice move after receiving a pass from midfielder Catarina Albuquerque to create the angle she needed to slot a shot into the right corner of the goal to give Rice the edge they needed to edge Charlotte 1-0 on the road. Rice improves to 9-7-0 with a perfect 7-0-0 record in CAA play. The Owls host WKU on Thursday. |
| Anna Walsh – Senior – Midfielder – Saint Louis – Walsh was a key contributor in Billiken wins over Rhode Island 6-0 and Dayton 2-1. She scored and assisted on the goals scored by Hannah Sawyer and Karsen Kohl in the contest with Rhode Island and had a goal and provided a helper on the goals scored by Jess Preusser and Sophia Stram in the come from behind win on the road over Dayton. The Billikens are 15-1-0 with an 8-0-0 mark in A-10 play. They close out regular season play with A-10 games at home in Hermann Stadium against VCU on Thursday and Saint Joseph’s on Sunday. |
| Eliza Turner – Sophomore – Midfielder – Georgetown – Turner was a key contributor in two hard fought 1-0 Big East wins over Villanova and Providence. She was a key ingredient in a stout bend but don’t break team oriented Hoyas defense that held both Villanova and Providence to only four shots on goal. Turner also scored with an assist from sophomore midfielder Tatum Lenain what proved to be the game-winner in the win over Providence. Georgetown improves to 11-1-4 with a 7-0-1 mark in conference play. The Hoyas close out regular season play with a match at home on Thursday with Marquette followed by a game on the road on Sunday against Butler. |
| Anja Suttner – Senior – Defender – Hofstra – Suttner gives the Pride big play ability on both sides of the ball. This week she was part of a Hofstra defense that limited UNCW to a total of only six shots and one goal in a 2-1 win. Suttner also scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal out of a free kick and made a key stop that prevented a game tying goal in the Pride’s subsequent 2-1 win over a determined College of Charleston team. Hofstra picks up two good CAA wins to improve to 8-6-3 with a 3-3-2 mark in conference play. They close out regular season play on Sunday when they host CAA foe Stony Brook. |
| Ella Dudley – Junior – Defender – New Hampshire – Dudley contributed on both sides of the ball for the Wildcats in two America East contests. She scored in their 6-1 win over Bryant and netted the lone goal of the game out of a free kick served in by junior forward Keegan Mayer in New Hampshire’s 1-0 win over Vermont. UNH will seek to build on their 7-5-1 overall record and 4-1-1 mark in conference play when they resume AE play with a contest in Baltimore on Sunday against UMBC. |
| Elsie Evans – Freshman – Defender – Stanford – Evans alertly controlled a loose ball in the box and sent it into the back of the net to give Stanford the edge that they needed on the offensive side of the ball to upset previously undefeated UCLA 1-0. She also was part of a solid Cardinal defense that kept the Bruins off of the board. A total of 2,477 fans were on hand at Cagan Stadium to witness the match between two of the top programs in the country. Stanford improves to 12-2-1 with a 5-1-0 record in Pac-12 play. Stanford, UCLA and USC are currently at the top of the table in Pac-12 play. Stanford travels to face Oregon on Thursday and Oregon State on Sunday. |
| Sydney Davis – Junior – Goalkeeper – Air Force – Davis came through in the clutch for Air Force in two Mountain West Conference contests. She had nine saves including several very difficult stops in the Falcons scoreless draw with Colorado State. She also had six stops in Air Force’s subsequent 1-0 win over Wyoming. Air Force is now 5-7-3 with a 2-4-2 win in conference play. The Falcons will seek to keep their momentum intact with games on the road on Thursday with the University of Nevada and UNLV on Sunday. |
