Welcome to the most recent edition of "Up Close" on CollegeSoccerNews.com, where host Adam Zundell brings you the voices of the game — players and coaches — straight to you, unfiltered, exclusively on CollegeSoccerNews.com.

Indiana midfielder Tanner Thompson joins the show this week to talk about Indiana's impressive start to the season. Thompson, a member of the CSN Team of the Week, converted a penalty in the final minute in a 1-0 win over New Mexico and then added a goal and assist in a victory over UC Irvine. Thompson talks about the games over the weekend and what it says about the Hoosiers going forward.

Key Quote:

"I stepped up and put it away. It was a great feeling — a great feeling to walk away with the win and from the weekend 2-0. It's a good start for us and we're looking forward to the rest of the year." — Tanner Thompson
