Team of the Week
Stanford
The Cardinals went on a Florida road trip this past week and earned two victories. First against #7 Florida State and then against Miami on Sunday. Stanford highlighted why they are one of the top teams in the country by extending their winning streak to seven games. Andrea Kitahata scored three goals this past week, setting a new career best with 10 goals in 2025.
Next for the Cardinals is a home matchup against SMU on Saturday.
Offensive Player of the Week
Samantha Erbach – Sophomore – Forward – Xavier
Erbach had four goal contributions (2g/2a) this past week in Xavier’s matchups against St. John’s (NY) and Providence. She hit the game winner and then added an assist against St. John’s (NY) in their 2-0 win. On Saturday, she added another goal and an assist against Providence. The sophomore forward now has multiple goal contributions in three straight games and has 25 goal contributions on the year (12g/13a).
Xavier and Erbach host Marquette on Saturday.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ally Casey – Sophomore – Defender – Memphis
Casey scored a goal and helped Memphis keep the clean sheet on the road against Eastern Carolina this past week. The sophomore defender has now helped Memphis keep 10 clean sheets this season and has won 6 straight games.
The Tigers and Casey will continue their undefeated season tomorrow night against UTSA.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Batoul Reda – Senior – Dayton
Reda helped Dayton keep two clean sheets this past week and made 11 total saves. The senior goalkeeper made eight saves in the Flyers’ 2-0 win at Saint Louis midweek, and then added three more saves in a 6-0 blowout at home against St. Bonaventure. Reda has now kept 12 clean sheets this season, which is a new career best.
Reda and the Flyers’ next game is against George Mason tomorrow night.
Freshman of the Week
Kiara Gilmore – Defender – Wisconsin
Gilmore helped Wisconsin secure a game-winning assist on the road against Oregon this past week, and the freshman defender also contributed to keeping the clean sheet in the win. Gilmore has started in every game for the Badgers this season, helping the team keep nine shutouts.
Wisconsin plays its last regular-season game this Sunday on the road against Northwestern.
