College Soccer News National Player Of The Week – Week Ending September 8, 2013

Pete Caringi III – Senior – Forward – UMBC 

Caringi continues to be a difference maker at UMBC.  He contributed a pair of goals to lead the Retrievers to a 3-1 win over Central Connecticut State.  He also scored twice to help UMBC secure a 3-1 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn.  UMBC is off to a 4-0-0 start during which time Caringi has netted a total of eight goals including three game-winners.  Caringi is now number seven on UMBC's all-time goal scoring list and the Retrievers are off to their best start since beginning the 2009 season with a 9-0-0 record.     

UMBC will take its undefeated record on the road when they travel to face Radford on Saturday, September 14.
