College Soccer News National Player Of The Week – Brandon Allen, Georgetown – Week Ending November 1, 2015

Brandon Allen – Senior – Forward – Georgetown –

Allen is a consistent and persistent threat on the offensive side of the ball for the Hoyas as reflected in his nine goals to date including four game-winning goals and six assists. This week he converted a penalty kick to knot the score at 2-2 with Seton Hall and then netted the game-winner in overtime after making a nice one-touch move off the dribble to secure the angle he needed to place the ball in the back of the net in overtme to give Georgetown the edge they needed to secure a 3-2 win.

Allen also netted the game-winning goal in Georgetown's 2-1 win over Villanova when he again displayed great touch on the ball when he scored out of a give and go with midfielder Arun Basuljevic.

Georgetown has now won ten straight to improve to 12-2-2 overall with a perfect 8-0-0 mark in Big East Conference play. Allen and his Hoya teammates have a huge regular season ending contest coming up when they host Creighton on Friday at 2 p.m. at Shaw field in Washington, D.C.
