College Soccer News is Back!

It has been over a year since the unexpected passing of College Soccer News’ Founder, Robert Bradner. He was a staunch family man who was born and raised in High Point, NC. Bradner was also a passionate sports fan, coach, and competitor.  This passion led him to create CSN, as he was a father living in Florida at the time, seeking news about his son, who was playing college soccer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. While CSN got its start in Florida, the new ownership group brings the brand to the Carolinas, where Bradner’s life began.

Jorge Gonzales and Brian Maurer of soccer media brand Topbin90 are the proud new owners of CSN, who are taking on the task of launching the brand to its next level, while maintaining its high standard of quality college soccer coverage. “I am humbled and honored to take on this new endeavor,” says new Co-Owner Maurer. “Bradner started this project because of the love he has for his family and college sports. His goal was to highlight a part of the beautiful game that is not covered well enough in the US,” continued Maurer. “His passion created one of the best media brands in college soccer, and I am excited to have the opportunity to take this brand to the next level.”

Over the past five years, Gonzales and Maurer have transformed Topbin90 from a YouTube channel into a leading media outlet covering soccer in the Carolinas, with a strong focus on Charlotte FC. Today, Topbin90 stands as the region’s fastest-growing soccer platform, reaching 2-3 million people monthly across five major social media platforms. “I’m incredibly excited to begin this new chapter with CSN,” said new Co-Owner Gonzales. “What Bob built with this brand was truly phenomenal, and his legacy will always hold a special place in college soccer. We’re honored to continue the outstanding work he started and build on the strong foundation he established at CSN.”

The Men’s and Women’s 2025 College soccer is fast approaching, and CSN Co-Owners Gonzales and Maurer will be bringing you all the latest news and more for this upcoming season.
