Cyle Larin – Freshman – Midfielder – Connecticut –

Larin, who hails from Brampton, Ontario, is an impact player who has added an additional dimension to the Connecticut attack. The impact that Larin is making is reflected in the fact that he has scored a total of ten goals to date and has scored in six of UConn's last seven games.

This week Larin scored twice to lead Connecticut past SMU 5-0 in an American Athletic quarterfinal contest played at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium.  HIs first goal was from the top of the box where he controlled a rebound and put it into the net. His second goal was a chip shot over the top of the SMU keeper after receiving a through ball from teammate Adria Besco.

Larin is among the reasons why the Huskies have a twelve game unbeaten streak and are 10-2-5 overall.  Connecticut will return to the field of play on Friday, November 15 when they square off with the University of Cental Florida in the semifials of the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
