Lexi Missimo – Junior – Midfielder – University of TExas
Missimo is an impact player. She had a stellar six assist and one goal week to help the Longhorns top UTRGV 5-0 and SMU 6-0. The win over SMU was Texas’ first over the Mustangs since 2005. Missimo now has 42 career assists and counting.
Texas improves to 5-1-0 and has now recorded three consecutive shutouts. The Longhorns host non-conference foes Stephen F. Austin on Thursday and Gonzaga on Sunday before beginning Big 12 play the following week.
