Francisco Magana – Junior – Midfielder – Sacramento State
Magana had a breakout four goal week. He utilized his touch on the ball to create the angle he needed to score Sacramento State’s first goal in their 2-1 win over Loyola Marymount and followed that up with an impressive three goal multi-dimensional effort to propel the Hornets past a game Gonzaga team 3-2. Magana’s hat trick was the first by a Sacramento State player since September 2019.
The Hornets are unbeaten in five games to date with a 4-0-1 record. Sacramento State will try to keep the momentum going when they travel to face Utah Tech on Friday and UNLV on Sunday.
