Ries, a 2019 All-WCC First Team selection, converted a penalty kick in the first half and scored twice in the second half to play a key role in Portland’s 4-3 come from behind win over Oregon State. Senior midfielder Jamie Rita contributed what proved to be the game-winning goal for the Pilots in the 86th minute of the match.
The Pilots will begin West Coast Conference play when they host Loyola Marymount on Saturday, February 20.
