PODCAST: Mo Thiaw (Louisville)

Rising senior Mo Thiaw from Louisville joins the show this week to talk about his journey in soccer that includes being born in Senegal, moving to Kentucky and playing junior college before joining the Cardinals.

Rising senior Mo Thaw of Louisville talks about coming to the United States from Senegal at the age of 15, and all of the adjustments that went along with that, but how soccer helped ease the transition. He also talks about the injury that forced him to go the junior college route, and how he's thankful to the coach who gave him a scholarship without ever meeting him. From there it's on to Louisville, where Thaw had an immediate impact last year for the Cardinals scoring 12 goals and earning All-ACC first team recognition. He talks about the ups and downs from last season and what he's looking forward to in 2017.
