MLS NEXT Cup U19 Semifinal Teams have Several Players Committed to College Pathway

The MLS NEXT Cup U19 Semifinals kicked off yesterday, and these games included several players who will go on to the college pathway. The Cedar Stars Academy Bergen were down a man but still managed to knock out a strong Orlando City U18 side on a last-minute own goal. The Orlando City U18s had won the Generation Adidas Cup earlier this year.

The second semifinal was between Real Salt Lake U18 and the LA Galaxy U18, in which the Galaxy pulled off the win, 2-1. The Galaxy and CSA Bergen will face off in the MLS NEXT Cup U19 Final tomorrow.
