Men’s College Soccer Top 25 Results Update: Opening Night

Several teams from our preseason top 25 poll dropped points on opening night. Seven teams in total lost, with five of those losses coming against non-ranked opponents. There were also five draws in our top 25, including two matchups that were between top-ranked opponents.

Our #1 pick, Marshall, is set to play tonight to finish off the opening game stretch, while Cornell is not set to play until the end of August.

  1. West Virginia – Beat Manhattan 5-2 at home
  1. Indiana – Drew with #7 Clemson 2-2 at home

  1. Dayton – Drew with Detroit Mercy 0-0 at home
