Emma Ekic – Senior – Midfielder – Louisville
Ekic, a four-year starter who is from Louisville, played a key role in Louisville’s 3-0 win over Syracuse and 2-0 win over Boston College. In the contest with Syracuse she was responsible for two goals and an assist. In the win over Boston College game she contributed a goal and an assist.
The Cardinals are now 3-1-0 with wins over Miami, Syracuse and Boston College and a 1-0 loss to Florida State in Tallahassee.
Louisville will return to the field of play when they travel to Charlottesville to face Virginia on Thursday, October 15.
