Bezerra recorded Indiana's first hat trick since the 2012 season in the process of powering the Hoosiers past Kentucky in the second round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Bezerra has scored eight times and contributed three helpers so far this year. Indiana out of the Big Ten and Kentucky out of Conference USA played to a scoreless draw when the two teams faced each other in regular season play. Number five seed Indiana improves to 15-2-4 and advances to the Sweet Sixteen where they will host a hot UC Santa Barbara team out of the Big West Conference that advanced by by defeating California 3-1 and number twelve seed Saint Mary's 4-0. |
