Heather Stainbrook – Junior – Midfielder – Utah Valley
Stainbrook is an impact player who had another big week of play for Utah Valley. She scored twice in the Wolverines 5-0 win over Southern Utah and contributed what proved to be the game-winning goal in Utah Valley’s subsequent 2-0 win over Utah Tech.
Stainbrook’s is now Utah Valley’s all-time point leader with 73 career points and the program’s all-time leading goal scorer with 26.
The Wolverines concluded regular season play with a 13-3-3 overall record and a 9-1-1 mark in Western Athletic Conference play to claim the WAC regular season title.
Utah Valley will seek to build on the success that they have had to date when they return to the field of play on Friday in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament where they face the winner of the Utah Tech and Grand Canyon quarterfinals matchup.
