Thorleifur Ulfarsson – Sophomore – Forward – Duke
Ulfarsson has the ability to take over a contest when he gets in gear. He added a ton of firepower to Duke’s offense this week. He contributed a hat trick scoring in the 26th, 55th and 73rd minutes in the Blue Devils 4-0 win over Howard. He followed that performance up with a big two goal evening to help propel Duke to a 3-1 win over Louisville in ACC play.
Duke improves to 8-1-0 and is 4-0 in ACC play for the first time since 1980 with conference wins over Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Syracuse and Louisville.
The Blue Devils will host non-conference foe Elon on Tuesday night before traveling to face ACC foe Pittsburg on Saturday in a contest that will have conference as well as national implications.
