Eliot Hamill – Senior – Goalkeeper – Duke
Hamill had a six save evening between the pipes as a key ingredient in a solid Duke defense that held Atlantic Coast Conference foe and rival North Carolina in check in route to a 3-0 win in Chapel Hill. Hamill and a Duke backline that includes senior Ian Murphy and sophomores Lewis McGarvey, Antino Lopez and Amir Daley have only allowed one goal to date in six contests.
Duke under head coach John Kerr is 5-0-1 overall with a 2-0-0 mark in ACC play with resume building conference wins over Virginia Tech and the Tar Heels.
Hamill who is from Scarsdale, New York and his Blue Devil teammates will seek to build on the success that they have had to date when they travel to face Syracuse on Saturday.
