Mac Steeves – Junior – Forward – Providence
It's highly unlikey that any player had more of an impact on his team's success or a more productive weekend than Mac Steeves. The junior forward who was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2014 College Cup continued where he left off last year scoring twice including the game-winning goal in overtime to power the Friars in a come from behind 2-1 win over in-state rival Bryant in Providence's season opener. He followed that performance up with a two-goal evening to again play a key role in helping the Friars top Monmouth 2-0 to improve to 2-0-0.
The Friars will seek to continue their winning ways when they travel to face Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts on Friday, September 4 and Rhode Island in Kingston on Monday, September 7.
