He also provided a helper on teammate Wade Muttitt’s goal. Lynch also scored in Saint Mary’s 3-0 win over San Francisco. The Gaels secure two good wins in WCC play to improve to 7-6-2 overall. Saint Mary’s continues conference play when they host Portland on Saturday. |
| Eduardo Mustre – Junior – Forward – FIU – Mustre scored both of FIU’s goals in a key 2-0 AAC win over Charlotte. The Panthers bounce back from a loss to FAU to improve to 9-3-3 overall with a 5-1-1 mark in conference play. Mustre has 11 goals on the season. FIU closes out regular season play on Wednesday when they travel to face AAC foe Tulsa. |
| Eno Nto – Junior – Forward – Notre Dame – Nto found the back of the net four times to power the Irish past Pittsburgh 6-0. Notre Dame improves to 11-1-4 overall and completes regular season ACC play with a 6-0-2 mark. |
| Ulfur Bjornsson – Freshman – Forward – Duke – Bjornsson had three goals and an assist in Duke’s 7-0 win over non-conference foe Howard. He followed that up with a two goal and one assist performance in the Blue Devils 7-1 win over Virginia Tech in ACC play. Duke concludes regular season play with a 10-3-2 overall record and 4-3-1 mark in conference play. The Blue Devils return to the pitch on Wednesday when they host Boston College in the first round of the ACC Tournament. |
| Alex Waggoner – Freshman – Forward – Michigan – Waggoner played a key role in two Michigan wins. He scored the game-winning goal in the 85th minute of play with an assist from midfielder Bryce Blevins in a 3-2 win over non-conference opponent Cleveland State. He also added the Wolverines third goal off a nice assist from midfielder Duilio Herrera in Michigan’s subsequent 3-0 upset win over Northwestern in Big Ten play. The Wolverines will face Northwestern again on Friday in the Big Ten Tournament. |
| Zach Zengue – Sophomore – Midfielder – Georgetown – Zengue had a four assist week contributing a helper on the goals scored by Jacob Murrell, Kyle Linhares and Maximus Jennings in Georgetown’s 4-1 non-conference win over UNCW. He also provided the assist out of a corner kick on Maximus Jennings header in the Hoyas 2-1 win over Marquette in a Big East Conference contest. Georgetown claims the Big East Regular Season title for the fifth consecutive season. The Hoyas will face Seton Hall on Saturday in the first round of the conference tournament. |
| Ethan Boyle – Senior – Midfielder – American University – Boyle played a key role in American’s 3-0 win over Army in Patriot League play. He contributed a helper on teammate Mustapha Sowe’s goal and scored in the win. Boyle has six goals and a single assist on the season. The Eagles are now 6-4-4 with a 3-2-3 mark in Patriot League action. They conclude regular season play with a game in Baltimore against Loyola Maryland on Wednesday. |
| Kenji Mboma Dem – Senior – Midfielder – Dayton – Dem scored twice to help give Dayton the edge they needed to top Massachusetts 3-1 in a must win contest. The victory enabled the Flyers to secure a berth in the A-10 Tournament. Dem has five goals and two assists on the season. The number six seeded Flyers will began post season play on Saturday when the face number three seeded Loyola Chicago on the road. Dayton is 6-6-5 with a 3-1-4 mark in conference play. |
| Kyran Chambron Pinho – Junior – Defender – SMU – Pinho played a key role in SMU’s 1-0 win over UAB in Birmingham in an AAC contest. He scored the lone goal of the evening out of a free kick from just outside the box and put in a full ninety minutes of play for a Mustang defense that limited the Blazers to only one shot on goal. SMU improves to 11-1-2 and secures the AAC Regular Season Title with a 6-0-1 mark in conference play. The Mustangs conclude regular season play when they host Temple on Wednesday. |
| Zach Barrett – Senior – Defender – Vermont – Barrett’s header out of a corner kick served in by Nick Lockermann gave the Catamounts the edge they needed to top Albany 1-0 in an America East Conference contest. He also was part of a Vermont defense that secured its eighth shutout of the season while limiting Albany to only four shots on goal. The Catamounts travel to face New Hampshire on Tuesday in their final regular season match. |
| Casper Mols – Sophomore – Goalkeeper – Kentucky – Mols had an eight save evening to anchor a Kentucky defense that shutout previously undefeated and number one ranked West Virginia 1-0 in a Sun Belt Conference Contest. Kentucky is unbeaten in their last six games (2-0-4) to improve to 5-6-4 with a 2-3-3 mark in conference play. The Wildcats conclude regular season play with a game on the road Tuesday against Georgia Southern. |
| Tomasz – Wroblewski – Junior – Goalkeeper – Elon – Wroblewski had a ten save evening to anchor an Elon defense that shutout UNCW 1-0 to secure a spot in the upcoming six team CAA Tournament. The Phoenix have played well down the homestretch winning four out of their last five contests including three straight CAA matches. Junior midfielder Scott Vatne contributed the game-winner for Elon with an assist from junior midfielder Calle Edelstam. Elon has a big challenge coming up when they face Stony Brook on Thursday in the first round of the CAA Tournament. |
