Wilmer Cabrera, Jr. – Sophomore – Forward – Butler – Cabrera powered a high octane Butler attack scoring three times and contributing the helper on Tommy Visser’s goal in a 5-0 Big East Conference win over DePaul. Butler will seek to build on the win when they host Marquette on Wednesday, March 10. | |
Frantz Pierrot – Junior – Forward – Merrimack College – Pierrot had a huge week of play scoring twice in Merrimack’s 2-1 come from behind win in overtime against St. Francis Brooklyn. He also came through in the clutch with the game-winning goal in overtime with an assist from Dylan Barreira in Merrimack’s 3-2 win over Mount Saint Mary’s. The Warriors are 2-0-0. | |
Alex Willis – Junior – Forward – Charlotte – Willis controlled a loose ball in the box and sent it into the back of the frame for the 49ers and contributed an assist on junior forward Preston Popp’s game-winning goal in overtime in Charlotte’s 2-1 win over Conference USA opponent Kentucky. The 49ers will host UAB on Saturday, March 13 in another key CUSA contest. | |
Bryan Iliohan – Sophomore – Forward – California Baptist – Iliohan scored twice to power the Lancers’ to a 2-1 win over Incarnate Word in a Western Athletic Conference contest. Forward Tete Vacas provided the helper on the first goal and midfielder Brian Gonzalez contributed the assist on the second. CBU improves to 3-0-2 with a 2-0-1 mark in conference play. | |
O’Vonte Mullings – Junior – Forward – FGCU – Mullings played a key role in FGCU’s 3-1 win over Jacksonville. He scored from fifteen yards out after receiving a pass from Darius Kerr-Cooper and sent a shot into the back of the net from outside the right side of the box with a double assist from Markus Maurer and Kerr-Cooper. FGCU will host North Florida on Saturday, March 13. | |
Parker Grinstead – Freshman – Midfielder – Ohio State – Grinstead made good use of the time he had on the pitch scoring twice to help Ohio State secure a 4-2 win over Northwestern to improve to 3-1-0. The Buckeyes will seek to keep the momentum when they host Michigan on Monday, March 15. | |
Chris Donovan – Junior – Midfielder – Drexel – Donovan contributed two goals and two assists to lead Drexel past St. Joseph’s 4-0. Drexel is 2-2-0 overall. The Dragons travel to Hempstead, New York to face Hofstra on Saturday, March 13. | |

Rimi Olatunji – Redshirt Junior – Goalkeeper – Providence – Olatunji anchored a Providence defense that secured a 1-0 shutout win over Villanova and tied highly regarded Georgetown 0-0. He had six saves in the match with Villanova and two saves in the game with Georgetown. Providence is 3-0-1 and has not allowed a goal to date. |
