Charlotte FC’s academy announced its 2026 graduating class, which included 15 players in total, with nine who have committed to Division I soccer programs for the fall season. Overall, Charlotte’s academy has helped 30 players earn college opportunities in the last four years.
Many more MLS academy players have announced their commitments to Division I programs, as this pathway has become a steady recruitment funnel for college men’s soccer.

Here is a list of the nine Charlotte FC Academy players who will be playing Division I soccer this year:

- Isaias Elizalde – UNC Charlotte
- Kai Longanecker – Central Florida
- Steven Rivas – Longwood
- Matteo Saffer – UC San Diego
- Jackson Smith – NC State
- Quinn Syrett – Wake Forest
- Simon Tonidandel – Pittsburgh
