 | Jenna Menta – Senior – Forward – Georgetown – Menta came through in the clutch for the Hoyas. She scored the game-winning goal from inside the box after pushing the ball forward down the flank and creating the space that she needed to place a shot into the bottom-right corner of the goal with only 53 seconds remaining in regulation. Georgetown tops a good South Carolina team 1-0 to advance to the third round where they will face number four seed TCU on Wednesday, May 5. |
 | Alex Spaanstra – Junior – Forward – Virginia – Spaanstra used her touch and quickness off the dribble to create the space she needed to place a shot into the near past from inside the box and converted a penalty kick to play a key role in Virginia’s 3-1 come from behind win over SIUE in the first round. She also found the back of the net twice to help the Cavaliers top a very good BYU team 2-0 in the second round. Virginia advances to the third round of the NCAA Tourney where they will face Rice. |
 | Parker Goins – Senior – Forward – Arkansas – Goins, who hails from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma scored twice to propel the Razorbacks to a 3-1 win over Utah Valley. Goins scored with an assist from Anna Podojil and utilized her left foot to slot a shot into the back of the frame from the penalty spot. Arkansas improves to 12-3-0 and advances to the Sweet Sixteen for the second time in program history where they will face Santa Clara. |
 | Reilyn Turner – Freshman – Forward – UCLA – Turner came through in the clutch for the Bruins scoring the equalizer in the 85th minute of play after receiving a pass from freshman midfielder Aislynn Crowder. She also netted the game-winner from around the top of the box in the final minute of regulation. Turner’s game-winning goal was set up by passes from redshirt senior back Jacey Pederson and sophomore forward Mia Fishel. The Bruins come from behind to top Iowa 2-1 to advance to the third round to Clemson. |
 | Grace Yochum – Junior – Midfielder – Oklahoma State – Yokum scored twice and contributed an assist on Olyvia Dowell’s goal in Oklahoma States 7-0 thumping of South Alabama. Sophomore forward Megan Haines also scored twice and contributed a helper for the Cowgirls who improve to 13-3-1 and advance to face Texas A and M on Wednesday, May 5. |
 | Rachael Dorwart – Junior – Midfielder – North Carolina – Dorwart contributed a helper on Abby Allens goal and controlled and finished a loose ball in the box to help the Tar Heels top Denver 2-0 to advance to the third round of the NCAA Tournament where they will face Washington. The goal was Dorwart’s first of the season. UNC improves to 16-1-0. |
 | Barbara Olivieri – Freshman – Midfielder – Texas A and M – Olivieri converted a penalty kick that was created when teammate freshman forward Lauren Geczik was fouled in the box a few minutes into the second half. Her second goal was from point blank range and was set up by a nice combination of passes from freshman defender Taylor Pounds and freshman forward Laney Carroll. The Aggies improve to 12-3-0 and advance to face Oklahoma State in the third round. |
 | Delaney Schultz – Junior – Midfielder – Rice – Schultz contributed a helper on the second of two goals scored by freshman Natalie Gorji and on the goal scored by freshman Mikala Furuto to play a key role in Rice’s 3-1 win over Furman. The win was the first ever for Rice in NCAA Tournament play. She also converted a penalty kick that was created when Izzy McBride was fouled inside the box to give Rice the edge they needed to upset number five seed West Virginia 1-0 in the second round. The Owls improve to 14-2-1 and advance to face Virginia in the Sweet Sixteen. |
 | Sophie Jones – Sophomore – Midfielder – Duke – Jones netted her third goal in the last five matches when she one-timed a shot into the bottom left corner of the frame three minutes into the second overtime period to send the Blue Devils into the third round of play with a 2-1 win over Arizona State. Jones’ goal was set up by a nice cross from freshman midfielder Maggie Graham. Senior forward Tess Boade scored Dukes first goal with a nice assist from junior defender Delaney Graham. The Blue Devils will tangle with Ole Miss in the Sweet Sixteen. |
 | Sara Wheaton – Junior – Defender – Iowa – Wheaton scored out of a corner kick served in by Samantha Cary to give the Hawkeyes the edge they needed to top Campbell 1-0 to secure Iowa’s first ever win in the NCAA Tournament. She was also part of a gritty Hawkeye defense that shutout Campbell and held UCLA scoreless for 80 minutes before allowing two goals in a 2-1 loss to the Bruins in the second round. |
 | Ashley Orkus – Junior – Goalkeeper – Mississippi – Orkus saved three penalty kicks to pave the way for Ole Miss to advance past Bowling Green in a first round contest that was decided by a pk shoutout after the match was scoreless at the conclusion of 110 minutes of play. She followed that up with an eleven save evening including a stop of a penalty kick in the first overtime period to help Mississippi advance past Southern California in another match that was decided by a penalty kick shootout after it was tied at the end of 110 minutes of play. Orkus had two saves in the shootout with USC. Ole Miss will face Duke in the Sweet Sixteen on Wednesday, May 5. |
 | Olivia Sekany – Redshirt Junior – Goalkeeper – Washington – Sekany anchored a Washington defense that shutout Liberty 3-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to extend her shutout streak to 469 minutes. She extended her shutout streak to 579 minutes with a three save evening while anchoring a Washington team that advanced past Saint Louis in penalty kicks after the contest was scoreless at the end of regulation and overtime. During the shootout Sekany made a huge stop and converted the game-winning pk. Washington advances to the third round of the NCAA Tournament where they will face number two seed North Carolina. |
