Nia Christopher – Sophomore – Forward – Towson
Christopher had a very impressive and productive four-goal week during which she played a key role in helping the Tigers secure a 2-0 win over Temple in a CAA contest and a 3-2 on the road win over non-conference foe Mount St. Mary’s.
In the win over Temple Christopher scored Towson’s second goal of the evening with an assist from senior midfielder Riley Rumbley.
She was a force and a difference maker on the offensive side of the ball in the win over Mount St. Mary’s scoring three times including the game-winner in overtime.
Towson improves to 3-1-2 and is unbeaten in their last three contests. The Tigers will host George Washington in a CAA contest on Thursday and travel to face a very good Pittsburgh team out of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Sunday.
