Missimo and her Texas teammates topped West Virginia 3-1, nationally ranked Texas Tech 1-0 and nationally ranked BYU 3-1 to win the Big 12 Conference Tournament. Missimo put in a full ninety minutes of play in each of the three tournament contests. She also scored twice and contributed an assist on Trinity Byars goal in the win over West Virginia and scored twice in the win over BYU in the tournament final.
Missimo is a difference maker and impact player who is hard to contain as reflected in her 24 goals and 19 assists on the season.
Texas will enter the NCAA Tournament with a ton of momentum. The Longhorns have won six straight contests to improve to 15-4-2.
