This past week was headlined by a couple of stellar performances from Bryant, who has now won nine straight games (unbeaten through 10), and Georgia Southern’s upset of our #3-ranked Marshall. Georgetown’s Zach Zengue also continued his red-hot form with three more goals.
Here are our men’s soccer awards for Week 6:
Team of the Week
Bryant
Bryant continued their unbeaten start to their season with their eighth and ninth straight wins. They started the week with a dominant 4-1 victory over our #25-ranked Connecticut on the road before heading into the weekend and shutting out the University of Massachusetts Lowell 3-0 at home. The Bulldogs have six shutouts so far this season and have only allowed four goals through 10 games.
This weekend, they travel to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, as they continue their America East Conference schedule.

Zengue is on an absolute heater, scoring eight goals in his last four games. This past week, the senior midfielder scored a brace and added an assist on the road versus George Mason. He added another goal on Saturday against St. John’s (NY). Zengue has now tallied 13 goal contributions (9g/4a), making this a career best already, with seven games still to go.
Next up for Zengue and co. is a road game at Seton Hall on Friday.
