It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Bradner, the founder and acting editor of College Soccer News. As a father, Coach, and leader; Bob impacted thousands of lives throughout his remarkable life. A summary of Bob’s life can be found here: Robert Bradner Memorial.
Bob founded College Soccer News at a time when college soccer coverage was almost non-existent. In the years that followed, College Soccer News has gained nationwide credibility and became a central source for both Men’s and Women’s soccer information. We celebrate his love for the game and desire to see college soccer news become accessible to everyone.
In this time of great sorrow, we have a mixture of both certainty and uncertainty. We are certain that College Soccer News will continue providing top-notch coverage for the decades to come. We are uncertain regarding what the leadership of CSN is going to look like. The CSN team will need some time to evaluate how to move forward in light of losing our Coach and star player.
