This was the week of the playmaker throughout the country as individuals took over contests with multiple goals and/or assists to help their team secure wins. There were also outstanding performers on the defensive side of the ball who were rock solid difference makers.

McLaughlin scored three times within the first twenty-four minutes of the contest and added two more goals in the second half to power SMU past Cincinnati 7-1 in an AAC match. The Mustangs also topped Stetson 5-0 earlier in the week to improve to 12-1-1. |

Dexter contributed the helper on the goals scored by teammates Edward Kizza and Velijko Petkovic and scored the game-winner in Pitt's 4 to 3 come from behind win over Duke in an ACC contest. Pitt is now 8-5-2 overall with a 4-2-1 record against in ACC play. |
Gerald Cubero Junior Forward NJIT |
Cubero scored twice to lead the Highlanders to a 2-1 on the road win over FGCU in an ASUN Conference game. The win was NJIT's first-ever over FGCU. The Highlanders improve to 7-4-4 overall and move into the number one spot in the ASUN standings with a 4-1-1 record in conference play. |
Declan McGlynn Sophomore Forward Seattle |
McGlynn assisted on the goals scored by Noe Meza and Hal Uderitz in Seattle's 2-1 win over Air Force. He also netted the game-winner in overtime with an assist from Meza in Seattle's 2-1 come from behind win over Utah Valley. The Red Hawks improve to 10-3-3 and extend their unbeaten streak to nine games. |
Dominick Faletto Senior Forward Houston Baptist |
Faletto scored four times including the game-winning goal in overtime to power Houston Baptist past Grand Canyon 4-3. HBU also topped UNLV 3-1 to improve to 5-9-0 with a 3-5-0 mark in WAC competition. |
Jan Maertins Senior Forward NIU |
Maertins was a difference maker who came through in the cluth for NIU. He scored twice including the game-winning goal to led the Huskies past Western Michigan 3-2 in an MAC matchup. NIU improves to 7-7-1 with a 2-1-0 mark in MAC play. |
David Egbo Junior Forward Akron |
Egbo was a catalyst for Akron in their 3-0 win over SIUE in a key MAC matchup. He assisted on the goals scored by teammates Mani Austmann and Will Jackson and scored from ten yards out with freshman midfielder Henrique Cruz providing the assist. Akron is 4-8-2 with a 2-0-1 mark in conference play. |
Aidan Morris Freshman Midfielder Indiana |
Morris is a playmaker. . He assisted on the goals scored by teammates Joris Ahlinvi and Joe Schmidt and scored with an assist from Thomas Warr to help propel Indiana to a 3-0 win over Rutgers. The Hoosiers also defeated Evansville 5-1. Indiana is 10-2-3 overall and 5-1-0 in Big Ten play. |
Chris Sullivan Junior Midfielder Bowling Green |
Sullivan was involved in the scoring of five of BGSU's seven goals during the week. He produced a goal and two assists in the Falcons 4-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne and contributed two assists in their 3-0 win over West Virginia. Sullivan has six goals and nine assists to date. BGSU is 9-5-1 overall. |
Walid Kherat RS Senior Defender Bradley |
Kherat was at the center of a solid Bradley defense that limited MVC opponents Loyola Chicago and Valparaiso to only four shots on goal. The Braves tied Loyola Chicago 0-0 and topped Valpo 1-0. Kherat scored the game-winning goal in the victory over Valpo. Bradley is 5-5-4 overall with a 4-3-2 record against MVC opponents. |

The Terp centerback scored the game-winning goal in overtime in Maryland's 1-0 win over a very good Yale team. He also was part of a tenacious Maryland defense that shutout Big Ten foe Ohio State 2-0 on the road. Maryland improves to 9-4-2 with a 3-0-2 mark in conference play. |
Pierre Cayet Junior Defender Temple |
Cayet contributed on the offensive side of the ball and was part of a solid Temple defense that helped secure a 2-1 win over Louisvile and a 2-1 win over AAC foe UConn. Cayet drove a header into the back of the net out of a corner kick in both games. Temple improves to 7-6-1 with a 3-1-1 mark in AAC play. |

Shutler simply continues to take care of business between the pipes for Virginia. He anchored a Cavalier defense that shutout Saint Louis 3-0 and Virginia Tech 2-0 Shutler had a seven save week during which recorded his twelfth shutout of the season. The Cavaliers improve to 13-1-1 with a 5-1-1 mark in ACC play. |
