 | Jason Shokalook – Freshman – Forward – Akron – Shokalook selected a good time to have the most productive night of his young career to date. He took advantage of the opportunities that came his way finding the back of the net three times to help Akron claim an impressive 5-1 win over Bowling Green in a key MAC contest. Akron is now 8-3-3 overall with a 2-2-1 mark in MAC play. The Zips host non-conference opponent Cleveland State on Tuesday then travel to Dekalb on Saturday to resume MAC play against a very good Northern Illinois team. |
 | Alex Meinhard – Sophomore – Forward – Tulsa – Meinhard is a goal scorer and a key ingredient on the offensive side of the ball for Tulsa. He powered the Golden Hurricane attack with a four goal evening in a 5-0 win over American Athletic Conference foe Memphis. Meinhard scored from inside the box after receiving a cross from freshman forward Tom Protzek and sent a shot into the back of the frame from 16 yards out in the first half of play. He then converted two penalty kick opportunities in the second stanza. Meinhard has 12 goals and 2 assists on the season. The Golden Hurricanes improve to 11-1-0 with a 6-1-0 mark in AAC play. |
 | Jack Sarkos – Junior – Forward – Lehigh – Sarkos came up big for Lehigh netting a hat trick that included the golden goal in overtime that gave the Mountain Hawks the edge they needed to upset Navy 3-2 despite the fact that the Midshipmen had an overwhelming 18 to 4 advantage in shots. The win keeps Lehigh in the running for a spot in the upcoming Patriot League Tournament. The Mountain Hawks have regular season Patriot League matches remaining with Boston University on Saturday followed by Colgate the following Wednesday. |
 | Matthew Vowinkel – Graduate Student – Forward – Hofstra – Vowinkel scored twice in the first half of play and added an assist on the goal scored by teammate Ryan Carmichael to help power the Pride past Lafayette 4-0. He also drove a header into the back of the net after receiving a long cross from Carmichael to give Hofstra the edge they needed to slip past James Madison 1-0 in a crucial Colonial Athletic Association contest. The Pride is unbeaten in their last eleven games to stand at 13-1-1 overall with a 4-1-1 mark against CAA competition. |
 | Mikey Ketteman – Junior – Forward – Oakland – Ketteman has been a difference maker on the offensive side of the ball for Oakland. He scored his team leading ninth goal with an assist from Noah Jensen in the Golden Grizzlies 2-0 on the road win over Louisville and contributed the assist on Dylan Borczak’s game-winner in Oakland’s subsequent 1-0 win over IUPUI in a Horizon League game. The Golden Grizzlies have won five in a row to up their record to 8-5-2 with a 6-1-1 mark in Horizon League play. Oakland will seek to keep their momentum intact when they host Bowling Green on Tuesday and Horizon League foe Milwaukee on Saturday. |
 | Gio Vivi – Junior – Forward – UCF – Vivo had an explosive evening on the offensive side of the ball for the Knights. He played a nice ball into the box out of a corner kick to set up teammate Lucca Dourado’s goal. He also created a turnover and subsequent goal when he drove the rebound of Ariel Hadar’s missed shot into the back of the net. Vivi also added his second goal of the evening and the third of the day for UCF after making a nice run down the right side of the field that resulted in a shot that found its way into the net. UCF tops Temple 3-0 in Philadelphia to improve to 8-4-0 with a 6-1-0 mark in AAC play. |
 | John Klein – Junior – Midfielder – Saint Louis – Klein has been an impact player for the Billikens since arriving on campus in 2018. This week he contributed a helper on both of the goals scored by Mason Leeth and the goal scored by Simon Becher to help propel Saint Louis past George Washington on the road to improve to 11-0-3 overall with a 7-0-0 mark in Atlantic 10 play. The Billikens secure the Atlantic 10 regular season title for the 7th time and the first time since 2016. The Billikens will host Rhode Island next Friday to close out 2021 regular season play. |
 | Kevin O’Toole – Senior – Midfielder – Princeton – O’Toole had another banner week of play on the offensive side of the ball for the Tigers. O’Toole scored from within the box after receiving a dish from Malik Pinto in Princeton’s 2-0 win over Lehigh and had a three goal and one assist contest to power the Tigers past Ivy League foe Harvard 4-1. Princeton improves to 8-5-0 and sits atop the Ancient Eight standings with a perfect 4-0-0 record. The Tigers host Fordham in a non-conference contest on Tuesday before resuming Ivy League play when they host a very competitive Cornell side on Saturday. |
 | Michael Suski – Junior – Midfielder – Boston College – Suski capitalized on the opportunities that came his way making the moves he needed to make to create the separation and the seam he needed to place two shots into the back of the frame including what proved to be the game-winning goal in Boston College’s 3-2 win over ACC opponent Wake Forest. The Eagles are now 6-5-2 overall with a 2-3-2 record in ACC play. Boston College will seek to enhance their record when they close out regular season play on Friday in Raleigh against North Carolina State. |
 | Milo Garvanian – Senior – Midfielder – North Carolina – Garvanian played a key role in two solid UNC wins. He converted a penalty kick and scored with a double assist from teammates forward Santiago Herrera and midfielder Yaya Bakayoko to help the Tar Heels secure a 2-0 win over Loyola Marymount in a non-conference matchup. He also contributed UNC’s second goal with an assist from Bakayoko in their 2-0 win over conference foe Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels gain momentum and improve to 9-5-1 with a 3-4-0 mark in ACC play. They host Notre Dame next Friday to close out regular season play. |
 | Jan-Erik Leinhos – Senior – Defender – Marshall – Leinhos has been a steady contributor on both sides of the ball for the Thundering Herd. He contributed the assist on freshman forward Augustin Iusem’s game-winner in Marshall’s 1-0 win over Wright State and scored Marshall’s first goal from just outside the 18-yard box in their 2-1 win in overtime on the road over CUSA foe Charlotte. The Thundering Herd improves to 10-1-3 overall with a 4-0-2 mark in CUSA play. Marshall continues to find a way to close out the close contests. |
 | Carlos Scheckermann – Junior – Defender – FIU – Scheckermann stepped into the starting lineup and put in two full shifts at center back helping the Panthers secure two solid CUSA wins. He alertly controlled a loose ball out of a corner kick and slotted it into the bottom left corner of the net to score what proved to be the game-winning goal in FIU’s 2-1 come from behind win over Coastal Carolina. He also drove a header into the back of the frame that was set up by a pass from freshman midfielder Julian Hodek to net the game-winner in FIU’s subsequent 3-2 win over Old Dominion. The Panthers are unbeaten in their last seven games to improve to 10-1-2 overall with a 5-0-1 mark in CUSA play. |
 | Roman Celentano – Junior – Goalkeeper – Indiana – Celentano anchors an IU defense that has shutout their last six opponents. He was rock solid again this week with a four save evening in Indiana’s 2-0 win over Evansville and a stellar four stop evening in their 1-0 win over Wisconsin in Big Ten play. Indiana is now 11-3-1 overall with a 5-2-0 mark in conference play. The Hoosiers host VCU on Wednesday and then travel to tangle with Maryland on Sunday in a key Big Ten matchup. |
