Team of the Week
Kansas City
Kansas City climbed significantly in our Top 25 Coaches Poll after earning results against three straight ranked opponents. They put up three goals against both Michigan State and Missouri State and then beat San Diego 1-0 on Sunday. The Roos are now unbeaten against ranked opponents in 2026 with two wins and two draws to show for it and have now cracked our top 15.
Offensive Player of the Week
Xander Sevian – Sophomore – Forward – Clemson
Xander Sevian scored a brace and added an assist against North Florida this past week and also started in Clemson’s win against North Carolina over the weekend. This season Sevian has showed massive improvement with seven starts and seven goal contributions (4g/3a) after not earning a start his freshman year.
Defensive Player of the Week
Amir Ariely – Sophomore – Defender – Virginia Tech
Amir Ariely scored a brace including the game winner for Virginia Tech on the road against Duke to continue Tech’s unbeaten run to start their ACC schedule. The Hokies and Ariely will look to have a solution to one of their steepest tests when they face SMU this Sunday.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Michal Mroz – Junior – Indiana
Michal Mroz helped the Hoosiers keep their unbeaten run going with a win against the defending National Champions Washington. The Huskies’ Zach Ramsey and their attack has been on a scoring blitz this season but Mroz was able to keep the clean sheet after making eight saves.
Freshman of the Week
German Argueta – Midfielder – Delaware
German Argueta has been an important piece for Delaware this season accruing over 80 minutes per game the last five games. He had a goal and an assist against LIU on Friday. His goal was the winner to help extend their unbeaten streak to four games.
