This weekend is jam-packed with men’s college soccer action in the Carolinas. UNC-Chapel Hill has the week off and will be watching to see if any of their opponents can close the gap on their current lead, having secured all nine points through their first three games. NC State also has the weekend off and sits in second in the standings. Will schools below the top two be able to use their games in hand this weekend to put some pressure on the ACC teams at the top?
High Point at Duke – 3/21 @ 1 PM ET
High Point hits the road today with an opportunity to secure second in the standings and the ability to keep their fate in their own hands with a win over Duke. The Blue Devils, on the other hand, are looking to build some momentum after losing to their bitter rivals two weeks ago. Duke’s forward Ulfur Bjornsson will look to spearhead that momentum after having a hat-trick in the First Round. High Point’s Daniel Lugo will be hungry to get on the scoresheet after his impressive 2025 campaign.
Virginia Tech at UNC Greensboro – 3/21 @ 4 PM ET
UNC Greensboro has an opportunity to end the weekend in second place with a win against Virginia Tech, although NC State and High Point will both have a game in hand. Tech will be looking for more after a scoreless draw against Campbell in their opening round game. The question in this matchup will be whose defense breaks first, as both programs have yet to concede.

South Carolina at Campbell – 3/21 @ 6 PM ET
Both South Carolina and Campbell are sitting on two points through two games and will see this matchup as a must-win to give themselves a shot at playing in the final. Neither team can catch UNC, but both should feel that winning out gives them an outside chance at with eight points. Adolfo Feoli and Matt Dejianne are USC’s two goal scorers so far, while Campbell is yet to find the back of the net.
Wake Forest at UNC Wilmington – 3/22 @ 4 PM ET
Wake Forest and UNC Wilmington are both struggling at the bottom of the standings and will see this matchup as their last gasp to find a way back into the mix. Wake Forest’s Alfred Debah and Tate Lorentz have opened their scoring accounts so far this spring, while Wilmington ran into the buzzsaw that is UNC’s attack their last time out.
