It is survive and advance time once again. Fasten your seatbelts as the Big Dance is about to get underway. The 48-team field has been announced and it is now all about the journey along the road with the destination being the College Cup in Kansas City, Kansas.
Wake Forest, Clemson, Georgetown, and Akron have been awarded the coveted top four seeds which means they could play their way to Kansas City without ever leaving home.
All sixteen first-round contests will take place on Thursday, November 19. All sixteen second rounds games will be played on Sunday, November 22 hosted by each of the sixteen top seeds. The third round (Round of 16) will take place on November 28 Saturday or 29 Sunday and the quarterfinals (Elite Eight) will be played on December 4 Friday or December 5 Saturday at the site of the highest seed. The College Cup (Final Four) will take place on December 11 Friday and 13 Sunday in Kansas City, Kansas.
