A new group of freshmen will join collegiate soccer programs throughout the country in 2006.  Only a  relatively small percentage of all those who play high school or club soccer get the opportunity to play collegiate soccer.  An even smaller subset of those individuals will ever  experience the excitement of playing in an NCAA Tournament match and an even smaller number will experience the thrill of being in a Final Four.  But the bottom line is that all who have a passion for the game will benefit from the experience of playing collegiate soccer .  College Soccer News salutes all the new 2006 freshmen recruits from coast to coast.  Listed below is our annual list of 100 freshmen to keep an eye on.  It is not an exhaustive list and we know up-front that we have likely left off  some who will end up making a big impact.  Listed below in alphabetical order are 100 freshmen that we believe will make an impact before their tenure is over.  The college they represent is also highlighted.
