College Soccer News annually issues a ranking of the top forty recruiting classes in August. The rankings are not issued until August to help ensure that they are based on the best possible information. In the meantime CSN will publish team previews and cover individual recruiting classes on an on-going basis as they are formally announced.
Individual classes will initially be assigned a one to five star ranking which is subject to change as additional recruits are added. The designation of a one to five star recruiting class will be based on the overall talent level within the class with an emphasis on criteria that reflects the overall level of play of class members against top level competition. |
